ANJUSS LEGENDS
About This Project
So far, LEGENDS has been the biggest collection I’ve developed for Anjuss. This launch celebrates the brand’s 30th anniversary by bringing back aesthetics that defined each decade, offering a modern and authentic reinterpretation of prints that made history. It’s a tribute to the brand’s journey and anniversary, as it has become the leading name in streetwear in southern Brazil.
The 1990s were represented by prints that evoke the world of hip-hop and underground culture, featuring E.T.s and DJs—themes that were central to the brand’s early designs. For the 2000s, I chose a cartoon aesthetic, inspired by the character prints the brand used to create, featuring fun reimagining of characters like Bugs Bunny and Garfield in this collection. The 2010s, on the other hand, were marked by a heavier aesthetic; by exploring elements such as lightning bolts, blackletter, and neotribal, I created reinterpretations of prints that were bestsellers during Anjuss’s previous decade.
